Design and Practical Features

Concealed zip front, actionback for free movement, shaped knees with adjustable inside kneepad pockets, and zips from knee to ankle so the suit goes on over boots. Storage is generous: chest and hip pockets with flaps, plus side pockets with hidden side access. Reflective stripes run across the shoulders, sleeves and legs for visibility in dim switchrooms and on night work.

Is this boilersuit suitable for MV switchroom work?
It depends on your incident energy assessment. At Class 1 with an EBT50 of 9.5 cal/cm², the suit covers tasks where the labelled incident energy falls within that rating. Where the assessment shows higher energy, you need a higher-rated switching suit. Check the arc flash label on the board first.
What does non-metal mean on an arc flash boilersuit?
All zips, fasteners and adjusters are non-metallic. Metal hardware can heat up rapidly during an arc event and cause contact burns, and it is a consideration near live conductors. Non-metal construction removes that risk from the garment itself.
