ProGARM CV100M Sustainable Range Arc Flash Coverall

The ProGARM CV100M is an arc flash and flame resistant coverall from ProGARM’s sustainable range, built for industrial electrical, power generation and utilities teams who need certified protection they can actually move in. It carries an ELIM 8 cal/cm² arc rating (APC 1) tested to EN 61482-2, and the protection is inherent in the fabric, so it cannot be washed out over the garment’s life.

What makes this range different is the fabric. The CV100M uses ProGARM’s VXS+ inherent flame resistant fabric with 20% recycled content, taken from off-cuts of ProGARM’s own unworn fabrics and put back into production. Same protection levels, less textile waste. ProGARM also state their arc flash garments last up to 70% longer than some competitors, and the coverall is covered by their Lifetime Seam Guarantee.

FAQs

Is 8 cal/cm² enough for our switchroom?

That depends on the incident energy at each location, which is why an arc flash study matters. APC 1 with ELIM 8 cal/cm² suits many LV and general electrical tasks, but higher-energy switching points may need a higher-rated switching suit. Check the arc flash label on the equipment, or ask us about an arc flash study.

Does the arc flash protection wash out?

No. The protection is inherent to the VXS+ fabric rather than a chemical treatment, so it lasts the life of the garment provided you follow the laundering instructions. The seams carry ProGARM’s Lifetime Seam Guarantee.
