Fristads Winter Coverall cl 3 8625 FWA Hi-Vis Yellow/Navy, Class 1
The Fristads 8625 FWA is a fully lined, flame-retardant winter coverall built for outdoor electrical work in cold, wet conditions. It combines arc flash protection to EN 61482-1-2 Class 1 with EN ISO 20471 Class 3 high visibility and EN 342 cold-weather insulation, so one garment covers switching, maintenance and inspection tasks on or near energised equipment through the winter months.

FAQs
What does Class 1 mean under EN 61482-1-2?
EN 61482-1-2 uses the box test method, and Class 1 means the garment has passed a 4 kA arc test. It suits lower-risk switching and maintenance tasks. Where an arc flash study shows higher incident energy, a higher-rated garment or switching suit may be required.
Is this coverall suitable for winter substation work outdoors?
Yes. It is certified to EN 342 for cold protection, with a quilted lining, water-repellent FlamTech outer fabric and an inside snow gaiter. The EN ISO 20471 Class 3 rating also keeps the wearer visible around plant and vehicles.
